Evaluation of a Collagen- and Hyaluronic Acid–Enriched Beverage for Skin Rejuvenation
In 2023 (1402 in the Iranian calendar), a randomized clinical study was conducted at the Dermalab Center to compare a collagen- and hyaluronic acid–enriched fruit beverage with a plain beverage lacking rejuvenating ingredients.
A total of 36 volunteers consumed the assigned products daily for 8 weeks.
The results demonstrated that participants in the collagen–hyaluronic acid beverage group experienced significant improvements in skin hydration and elasticity, as well as increases in dermal collagen and elastin content, as measured by high-frequency skin ultrasonography, compared with the control group. Additionally, more than 70% of participants consuming the collagen-enriched beverage reported satisfactory outcomes.
