Evaluation of a Microneedling Device Model for Facial Skin Rejuvenation and Improvement of Skin Sagging

In 2022, a clinical study was conducted at the Dermalab Laboratory with the aim of evaluating the safety and efficacy of a domestically developed microneedling device model for facial skin rejuvenation and reduction of skin sagging signs.

Participants underwent treatment with the device in two sessions, and outcomes were assessed using dermatoscopy, measurement of skin biophysical parameters, skin ultrasonography, and evaluations by a specialist physician.

Dermatoscopic findings demonstrated that two months after treatment, the severity of wrinkles, skin laxity, and the volume of skin folds in the nasolabial area were significantly reduced. Most participants reported moderate to high satisfaction with the treatment, and the reported adverse effects were mild and transient.

Overall, the findings indicate that the Ignite device, equipped with Micronife and Microhook applicators, may serve as an effective and relatively safe method for improving skin quality and achieving facial rejuvenation in adult individuals.
