Establishment of Derman Andishan Alborz Laboratory
The unit for evaluating pharmaceutical, cosmeceutical and hygienic products started to work in February 2010 as a part of the Center for Research and Training in Skin Disease and Leprosy
Clinical Evaluation Lab for Pharmaceutical, Cosmeceutical and Hygienic Products is currently the only center approved by Medical Equipment Department for clinical assessment of pharmaceutical, cosmeceutical and hygienic skin care products. This laboratory cooperates with producers and importers in conducting microbial, safety, allergy and efficacy tests for all pharmaceutical, cosmeceutical and hygienic skin care products as well as completing regulatory documents. Derman Andishan Alborz (Dermalab) is responsible to conclude contracts and implement prepared protocols and to have quality supervision on them.

After about ten years of experience and considerable cooperation with manufacturing industries, importing companies and university centers in the fields of clinical activity, in order to have structural, research and scientific growth and in line with Iran’s policies for developing third-generation universities, the founders of the Center decided to establish a knowledge enterprise.
Maintaining high quality standards at Dermalab is an important principle that encompasses all laboratory activities and all colleagues are required to follow it.
