Clinical Evaluation Lab for Pharmaceutical, Cosmeceutical and Hygienic Products is currently the only center approved by Medical Equipment Department for clinical assessment of pharmaceutical, cosmeceutical and hygienic skin care products. This laboratory cooperates with producers and importers in conducting microbial, safety, allergy and efficacy tests for all pharmaceutical, cosmeceutical and hygienic skin care products as well as completing regulatory documents. Derman Andishan Alborz (Dermalab) is responsible to conclude contracts and implement prepared protocols and to have quality supervision on them.

Clinical activities
Measuring a wide range of biophysical parameters of patients’ skin and hair to be used for clinical purposes at the request of physicians
Research activities
- Creating national database of skin biophysical parameters from healthy population of different ages
- Creating national database of skin biophysical parameters of benign and malignant skin disorders
- Designing and conducting clinical trials to investigate safety and efficacy of products by pharmaceutical, cosmeceutical and hygienic factories and companies
Educational activities
Building educational platforms with the participation of authentic national and foreign centers to educate companies, physicians and other interested people

Establishment Knowledge Enterprise Company
After about ten years of experience and considerable cooperation with manufacturing industries, importing companies and university centers in the fields of clinical activity, in order to have structural, research and scientific growth and in line with Iran’s policies for developing third-generation universities, the founders of the Center decided to establish a knowledge enterprise.
